ABOUT OUR PRACTICE
Spring Terrace Health Centre provides GP and family health services to patients in the North Shields area. We offer a wide range of clinics as well as GP appointments, allowing for patients to be seen by a number of different professionals within the practice, ensuring they get the care they need.
We are part of Northumbria Primary Care (NPC) which is a not-for-profit, at scale provider of primary care services in Northumberland and North Tyneside. A partnership between local GP surgeries and a top performing NHS trust, Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, NPC works at scale with like-minded practices, improving resilience and quality of services for our patients whilst retaining practice identity and team composition.
We run clinics in the following locations:
Spring Terrace Health Centre
Practice opening hours:
8am – 6.00pm, Monday to Friday
Our practice has good disabled access including accessible rooms, a disabled toilet and disabled parking.
We are a research practice and suitable patients may be invited to participate in research on a voluntary basis.
We are a GP training practice and support students and GP registrars through their training and educaiton.
All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.
The average pay for GPs working at Spring Terrace Health Centre in the last financial year was £49,314.59 before tax and national insurance.
This is for 7 part-time GPs.
We are a Veteran Friendly practice. This means that, as part of the health commitments of the Armed Forces Covenant, we have a dedicated Clinician who has specialist knowledge of military related health conditions and veteran specific health services. This is important in helping ex-forces to get the best care and treatment.
If you are ex-forces, please let your GP know to help ensure you are getting the best possible care.
